What was once the separate site of sh4theroom.tk, has now been incorportated into Silent Hill Genesis. The original site, started in the summer of 2004, thoroughly documented all of the previews for Silent Hill 4: The Room. Most of that information is obselete at this time, but please enjoy the wallpapers and avatars that were created in promotion of the game.

There will be a first person view perspective at least while Henry is inside his apartment. This is unprecedented in the series. Henry will also be able to examine just about everything while inside.About 20 new monsters include ghosts that can penetrate walls, and creatures that float, hang and mutate.
New cast of characters, locations, and tough puzzles.
Particular focus on gameplay and action, including the real-time switching of weapons (without having to access the menu).
Synopsis
Henry Townshend of Ashfield, a town in close proximity to Silent Hill, wakes up on day to find that he is trapped inside his house. All the doors and windows are locked, particularly the font door which bears mutiple padlocks. After waiting around for five days or so, a hole randomly opens in the wall. It leads to the world of Silent Hill, where rust and dirt cover the walls and floor, and dangerous creatures roam about.Henry's mission is now to escape his room, and the world of Silent Hill, to make it back to civilization. In doing so he will discover his own relation to Silent Hill, that of his home, and the reasons behind the bizarre events.
Henry has a neighbor, Eileen, who has lived next door for as long as he has. She and others begin to peer through Henry's keyhole in search for him when he gets shut off from the world.
